Celtics sign James Posey..now where do celtics fit in the eastern conference?

By this afternoon, the sides had reached agreement on a deal that will pay Posey just over $3 million - the amount left on the team’s mid-level exception - next season. The full contract will pay him $7 million over the next two years, with Posey holding an option on the second season.
Alright now to my thoughts on the signing and how the celtics fit in the east :
I think this is a good signing for the celtics now obviously with KG, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce them getting a lot of the attention from the defense James Posey a very good outside shooter can compliment them very well kind of similar to what Bruce Bowen does for the Spurs not saying Celtics are that calibar of a team right now but in the eastern conference a healthy Ray Allen, Pierce, and KG can do some damage plus Rondo is a nice young player and Eddie House can shoot the 3. So now with the James Posey signing where do the Celtics fit in the eastern conference if they can stay healthy of course?
Ok who do i think has a better roster than them? the detroit pistons but there weakness is at the coaching position and i think that will be celtics weakness also and with the cavs, I'm not one of those people who thinks Mike Brown is a moron i actually think he's got that that team playing championship calibar defense with a starting 5 of gibson, hughes, lebron, gooden, big z on paper that does not look like an elite defensive team at all but he's god them doing it the only problem i have with Mike Brown is his lack of creativity on the offensive end but he's still one of the youngest coaches in the nba and that can improve.
Back to the pistons coaching staff, Flip Saunders i believe will have Jason Maxiell in the rotation getting consistent minutes next season so i think that will help them a lot he brings a lot of energy, hustle, and defense to there team plus even in the paint when he gets touches he can put up some points with his physical play. But in order for the pistons to the finally get past the eastern conference finals Rasheed Wallace will have to be more focused on the game and not bitching and crying to the refs i'm not sure if it's rasheed's fault or flip's fault for the lack of getting on the block or scoring consistently in the paint rasheed wallace is about 7 foot tall and a really inconsistent\streaky outside shooter so why wont you have him get on the block and inside more where he is more effective like he did in portland? but even in portland he went out and took long jumpers so there is why it might be rasheed's fault. Also about flip he should run Richard Hamilton's off screens more ofton and take mid range jumpers instead of floating out and taking 3 point shooters like Rasheed but Hamilton is a much more consistent 3 point shooter than Rasheed so it's not as bad but Flip still needs to attack these players strengths.I also think Pistons need to get Prince more involved in the offense it's mostly Billups and Hamilton doing all the work offensively but Prince is a very long and tall sf and he can give mismatch problems in the post against some of the smaller sf's in the eastern conference.
I don't want to make this blog too long so i will go ahead and predict my top 5 seed in the eastern conference and trust me i might be wrong so we can go back to this blog once the season is done, here we go....
1.Detroit Pistons - even with coaching issues they are still a veteran team full of talent and they are still my #1 seed next season.
2.Chicago Bulls - i didn't really mention them in the blog up until now but drafting noah might not improve there main weakness (low post;inside scoring) but i think he does fit there style with Ben and Tyrus on there frontline adding Noah will only make the interior better defensively and more athletic and now with PJ Brown gone Scott Skiles might give Tyrus Thomas more of an opportunity but they signed Joe Smith a veteran big similar to brown he might get the minutes of Tyrus especially during the playoffs.
3.Cleveland Cavaliers - They might make a trade before the deadline but i can see this team coming back strong after getting swept in the finals and i can also see Gibson being a canidate for most improved player of the year if Mike Brown gives him the consistent minutes.Larry Hughes has been very injury prone the last couple of years even in the finals he got hurt and his defense was very poor due to injury so he's going to have to stay healthy for them this year if not he might see himself getting traded soon.
4.Boston Celtics - Coming off a season of having the highest % of getting the #1 pick to being a top 4 seed is what can possibily happen if you having a very good young big man with potential to be a franchise player (al jefferson) and also a few solid young players (Gerald Green & Ryan Gomes) and also a fatass expiring contract (Theo Ratliff) but on the other side is the timberwolves who i don't see making the playoffs or getting anywhere really close but i do like the young talent they have going on there Corey Brewer, Randy Foye, Al Jefferson, Gerald Green, Ryan Gomes, Chris Richard but the Mike James for Juwan Howard trade made no sense what so ever and if i were the timberwolves i would buy out Juwan.
5.Orlando Magic - I can see Dwight Howard taking a big improvement with his scoring and prove that he deserved the max extension he got from the franchise don't get me wrong if i were the Orlando Magic i would of done the samething but right now i wouldn't exactly say Dwight is a max player in terms of his offensive game he's still pretty raw and does not have a consistently good low post game but than again he does get doubled consistently every game so overpaid but allstar talent Rashard Lewis can benefit from being on his team.
